No one likes a visit to the dentist -- but most of us monogastrics need to visit him sometime.
Jessie's appointment with the vet to float her teeth (or file them, to correct her bite) was on Tuesday. With a little help from some light sedation, she behaved, as the vet remarked 'like a little cupcake'. Very well behaved in other words. But she really didn't enjoy it - poor girl!
After a huge late snowstorm it was a wet and mucky day and so it was a cozy hour or two spent in the barn. Luckily, "Trouble", Jessie's boyfriend was on hand for moral support and stood quietly and patiently in the same stall as her for comfort while she had her treatment.
